Sprint (formerly known as Sprint Nextel) offers mobile phone and mobile internet service, including text messages and voice mail, to individuals and businesses. Call the customer service phone number. Not only Is the customer service awful but the phone service is just as bad. If the merger goes through, Sprint customers who can no longer afford the higher cost of a plan from the merged company might turn to smaller carriers that offer prepaid plans for their wireless needs.

For instance if you happen to have just bought a new high-end smartphone or tablet, Sprint incentive discounts won't cover the full cost of replacing it. What's worse is that brand new smartphone essentially become useless in a few months when the Chicago and St. Louis networks go dead (though it would work on U.S. Cellular's other networks).

In early September 2009, I was astounded by a bill that was way over what I knew it shouldn't have been, because of my 1,000 free minutes that I had not used up. I called, and the conversation with the customer service representative ended up in him laughing at me, because he said my 12 months had passed, but I still had minutes that I could not use.

I have compared the same iPhones, side by side, all from different providers, and the sprint iPhone is embarrassingly slow. Singleton said it was normal business practice for Sprint to audit customer service interactions. Sprint's customers were less frustrated and the carrier reaped huge cost savings.

As a stand-alone company, T-Mobile has generated more wireless innovation in recent years than Apple and Samsung combined. If Sprint's worst 1,000 customers go to another carrier, that's actually a net plus for them-let someone else deal with their Demon” customers.

Been transferred, put on Sprint hold, told T-Mobile does not have such a plan, etc. I noticed last September (2012) my phone was dropping calls, no service or failed calls. I immediately got on the phone with Sprint customer service and found out the plethora of lies I was told by the previous 2 reps.

Apparently, the Sprint guy admitted, his company's computer, having found a match or near-match of some identifying numbers, had terminated my account, even though the other guy and I had different names, street addresses, phone numbers and birthmarks.

If you prefer a prepaid plan, Sprint still gives you a prepaid option with unlimited text and data, or a slightly cheaper prepaid plan with a data cap. But Sprint's network continues to be its undoing: It even finished behind discount carrier MetroPCS in our speed tests, making it hard to recommend Sprint when better options are available.

Even for unlimited text and data, Sprint gives you more for your money than anyone else—especially if you want a family plan. Call Sprints CS and you'll get a different people every time giving you a different answer every time, it's amazing, I even had one tell me she would call me right back knowing that she wouldn't and when I call back I'll get someone different.

Sprint waives it if you sign up for your plan and buy your phone online. Yeah no customer service is what is ever expected but sprint is at the bottom of the pile without a doubt. Still, while I'm sticking with Sprint for now, I can't recommend the service to new customers given the way that they treat even folks who've been with them for a long time.

Sprint does not care about their loyal customers. He claimed that even customers of other providers, such as AT&T, Verizon and Comcast, could see price cuts as those companies respond to the business moves of the new company. If you're looking for a less expensive option, Sprint has prepaid phone plans.
